As a combat Veteran deployed to a dozen nations over 30 years, I know the costs of armed conflicts. 

It might be cheap and easy for one man and his billionaire oil buddies to spend our taxpayer dollars and put service members’ lives at risk in Iran.

But, it’s not cheap or easy for working and middle-class Americans facing surging prices for groceries, healthcare, and more. And it’s never cheap or easy for our dedicated military servants and their families.

Our Founders gave Congress the sole authority to declare war for good reason. No single person should be able to plunge our nation into conflicts that have enormous financial and human costs.
